Request for Proposal: Professional development for CSN providers
The Westcheser County Department of Health (WCDH) is interested in contracting with a University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities(UCEDD) to provide a series of professional development sessions to providers that either directly contract with WCDH's Division of Children with Special Needs(CSN) or subcontract with or are employed by agencies that have active contracts with WCDH CSN.

Request for Proposal: Produce and furnish an entertainment package at Playland Amusement Park
The County of Westchester, Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation requests proposals from qualified individuals or business entities interested in providing produced shows and entertainment, which include Musical Revues, Kiddyland DJ, Strolling Band, Strolling Entertainment and Costume Character Personnel, at Playland Amusement Park in Rye, New York. It is anticipated that prices quoted are to be used as contract prices for a five (5) year period with the first year commencing May 8, 2010 for the Kiddyland DJ and June 18, 2010 for the Musical Revue Shows, Strolling Band, Strolling Entertainment and Costume Character Personnel and ending September 6, 2010. Subsequent contract years will have similar dates for entertainment which will generally be the second weekend of May for the Kiddyland DJ and the third Friday in June for the remainder of the entertainment. The County will have the sole option to renew this contract for an additional five years.
All proposals must be received in the Marketing Office, Playland, Playland Park, Playland Parkway, Rye, New York by 5:00 p.m., on Friday, December 11, 2009. Westchester County will not be responsible for any internal or external delivery delays, which may cause the RFP to arrive beyond the deadline. RFP Entertainment Package

Request for proposal:To undertake evaluation of Bee-Line bus operations in specified location
Westchester County, acting by and through its Commissioner of Transportation, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to undertake an evaluation of Bee-Line bus operations in the downtown of Yonkers, identify a location for a new bus terminal and examine the potential for routing MTA New York City Transit buses to Yonkers that terminate in the Bronx. The study area is bounded by Buena Vista Avenue, River Street and Alexander Street on the west side, Ashburton Avenue to the north and Nepperhan Avenue and Prospect Street on the east and south sides. The purpose of this study is to improve the operating efficiency of Bee-Line buses in downtown, given the extensive development planned for the study area. School routings shall be included in the Bee-Line services to be evaluated.

Request for Proposal: Airport Noise Study
The Westchester County Airport is requesting proposals for an airport noise study. Proposers must have experience in evaluating aircraft noise metrics. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for November 30, 2009 at 10am at the airport administration offices. Proposals are due on or before 10:00 am December 31, 2009.
